Alternatively, when you select a text boxChatham Pediatric Dentistry’s homepage has a child’s image with funny teeth and reads like this: “The dentists you wish you had growing up.” And that’s how dentists and owners Alexandra Boudreau and Kevin Ricker describe themselves.

A Wilmington native, Alexandra graduated from NC State and headed to UNC-CH for Dental School, later returning for a 3-year pediatric dentistry residency at UNC as well. Like many of her patients, she is a recent Briar Chapel homeowner, after living in Chapel Hill for 10+ years. Kevin grew up in Greensboro and attended UNC-CH for undergraduate, dental school and pediatric dentistry residency. He just moved to Chatham County this year as well.

Alexandra and Kevin sensed their professional chemistry early on. Chums in residency, they decided to open a practice together and were both drawn to northern Chatham County, an area once devoid of pediatric dentists, but no more, thanks to Chatham Pediatric Dentistry. Alexandra shares this, “I grew up hating the dentist, so I want to help children have a good dental experience and get them interested in taking care of their teeth.” Kevin’s sentiment is similar: “I’m driven by personal relationships with our young patients. They are infinitely clever.”

Both Alexandra and Kevin are parents with young children; Alexandra has Jude (2) and a second child arriving in April. Kevin has two kids, Emmet (4) and Arley (1). As real parents with real children, they understand the parents’ perspective and are devoted to doing what is best for their kiddo clients—all while maintaining humility and honesty and, of course, a bit of humor. Alexandra reveals Kevin is a joke master, and both feel their strongest attribute is their ability to communicate well with children of all ages.

One of the first businesses to sign up, CPD is excited to part of the Veranda community. Kevin and Alexandra knew the area was underserved, and being located in front of Briar Chapel, such a family-centered neighborhood, would be the perfect fit for their services.

A trained yoga teacher, Alexandra enjoys spending time outdoors, mostly in local parks, with her family. An avid electric guitar player, Kevin can be found pretending he is a rock star or traversing local woods to snap snake photos.

Kevin and Alexandra hope you will consider visiting their playful and spacious office and find out for yourself what Chatham Pediatric Dentistry has to offer its community.
